Kendall and Alex's Wedding at Stonehouse Villa
Kendall and Alex are such a badass couple. Their love for each other and love for life is so inspiring. We had a blast photographing their engagement session in east Austin earlier this year. We loved their spring wedding at Stonehouse Villa! It ended up being a very rainy day, but they didn’t let the weather get in the way of taking awesome portraits and having a good time.
A few of my favorite things about Stonehouse Villa:
1) The exterior of the building – the stone walls, front door, agaves, and spiral staircase all make for great photo ops
2) Hill country landscape – grassy fields and big trees
3) Tented reception deck- beautiful white ceiling (great for bounce flash) with chandeliers and hanging lights, a great rainy weather backup option!
Rainy day? No problem!
Kendall looked gorgeous on her wedding day. Her hairstyle, natural makeup, modern wedding dress, and whimsical bouquet went together perfectly. She had a very sweet connection with her grandmother, and I’m so glad we were able to capture a beautiful moment of them together before the ceremony. The rain forced them to move their outdoor ceremony inside, but that didn’t ruin their joy, because they were so excited to be marrying each other. After the ceremony they wanted some outdoor portraits, and braved the rain and mud for some epic rain shots! Kendall and Alex sure know how to throw a party. Their dance floor was full of energy and quite entertaining!!
